# Using the Enable theme on an existing document

All Enable templates are based on the Enable theme.

#### To migrate the theme of an existing document that didn’t start as an Enable template to having the Enable theme: ​

1. Type ‘Theme’ in the search box at the top of the word/excel/powerpoint document. ​
2. In the drop down result hover over ‘Theme’ and navigate down to ‘Browse for themes’ ​
3. Navigate to the Enable templates folder and select Enable 2017.thmx. ​

Existing text and shape colours will all adjust to Enable theme colours.
