# Microsoft Teams

One of our core values is:​  IT TAKES A VILLAGE. We genuinely seek and value input from others, because it helps us deliver better outcomes.  ​Our platform for community or village is Microsoft Teams.

All of the Enable team is encouraged to use the Enable – General channel to actively reach out to our team for views, past experience and help.​

The structure for how we organise “Teams” is split between general collaboration and jobs.  ​

#### **Our Collaboration Teams are:​**

* Enable General​
* Business Development​
* Enable Management​

Job Teams are organised by work and required membership.  We don’t need a Team for every job but rather we create a team when multiple Enable employees are involved on the one job or there are external “Guests” e.g. from a client.  Jobs will be archived once the work is finished as per the Job Close Out template.​

#### **Guidelines for communications:​**

* Teams Enable General Posts for Community​
* Teams “chat” for informal communications​
* Emails with attachments for anything that shouldn’t be missed​
* Minimise interruptions unless you are blocked (e.g. phone calls).  Send a message / chat and ask for a time slot​
