# Knowledge Management

As part of a running business, large and diverse amounts of data are created, acquired and retained by Enable. Knowledge Management is the method in which this information can be easily and efficiently accessed while minimizing the amount of 'clutter' that can build up with data storage. It is split into 5 main blanket sections which aims at capturing the root of the information to do our jobs.​

#### ​0**1. The Enable Business**

Enable like other business needs certain processes to run efficiently. This area of knowledge is for how Enable gets it internally facing things done.  Examples include Job Management and Enable WHS. ​

#### 02. Work Standards and Tools

Enable has developed IP that should be leveraged to maximise value and efficiency and ensure that high quality work is delivered.  This area of our Knowledge Management captures the Templates, Tools and Standards used by Enable.  At times there will be some cross over with 03. Products. ​

#### **03.** Enable Products

Enable product offerings, which can be submitted directly to clients as part of proposed work.  This area of or Knowledge Management captures existing products which are available for use. ​

#### 04. Library

The Enable Library is the repository of information ranging across different commodities and topics used by Enable. It includes materials from conferences, courses and training done by Enable and useful reference papers. ​

#### 05. For Filing

Location for files which require filing and there might be some doubt on the suitable location. If in doubt, ask.​

​Additionally, the search functionality of SharePoint allows for specific keywords to be searched (as part of document titles or the body).
